Richard is the resident copyrighter and coffee drinker.
He creates batches of blog/social media content, edits paragraphs, and writes endless drafts searching for the perfect form. He also does illustration and blog layout as needed.
Richard has written a regular weekly feature on the Live in Everett blog for a year.
He studied journalism and English at Everett Community College and North Seattle College. He’s self-published book of poetry and his work has been published on two nonprofit blogs.
Richard grew up in Monroe, Washington. He could spend all day every day wandering the maple tree-lined paths of Al Berlin Park near the Skykomish River. With a cup of coffee.
Jake is our photographer - he's amazing at capturing compelling and experiential images. He also does videography, graphic design, and web design. He is a mellow guy, unobtrusive with the candid shot.
He has an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. He also has 5 years of professional experience as a freelance photographer and videographer.
Jake, a San Fran Bay Area native, has lived in the Seattle area since the fall of 2012. He loves all things outdoors. - especially hiking to Wallace Falls and the Big Four Ice Caves.
Garret takes many lead roles on the team, but perhaps stands out most as a videographer and “big picture” thinker.
His skills include creative strategy, video production/vlogging, copywriting/blogging, photography, podcasting, social media, and basic design.
He has a degree in filmmaking and has been producing films since 2002 including skateboard videos for companies like, Adidas, Transworld Skateboarding, Thrasher Magazine, Black Label Skateboards and more.
Garret has lived in Everett since 2009. His favorite SnoCo activities? It’s a 3 way tie between exploring skateparks, nature trails, and craft beer.
Sierra is our lead illustrator. She’s good with an Apple pen and roller skates.
She has an Associates of Arts and Sciences from Everett Community College. She also studied fine art, web design, digital illustration and photography.
Since college, she's been working as an illustrator. She loves doing personal narrative, comic and 'zine work, commissioned pieces, and client work through Milltown.
Sierra moved to Everett with her family in 2009. She frequents the Lynnwood Bowl and Skate. In the summer months she likes to roller skate outside in Everett, but when fall comes around it's time to hit the rink.
Tyler is the co-founder, the relationship guy and creative director. He wears all the hats: copywriting/storytelling, brand development, photography, graphic design, web/interactive design, and ux design.
Tyler moved to Everett in 2005 with intentions of moving to Seattle and never left. He fell in love with the grittiness of the city, Jetty Island beach days in the summer and fall hiking.
